May In And Around Austin

Observing meteor showers, bat migration, Hamilton pool preserve, downtown Austin nightlife.

We recently visited Austin for business and pleasure during a wonderful span of spring in early May. We packed our visit full of fun, including:

  • Hiking the Walnut Creek Metro Park
  • Taking a dip in the Barton Springs pool
  • Driving out to Johnson City and observing the peak of the Eta Aquarid meteor shower
  • Stumbling upon the Congress Avenue bridge for the million bat aerial show
  • Reserving time at the Hamilton Grotto Preservation and swim

Below are select photos from this great mini-vacation. Please take a look through! Let us know what you think, and consider us for your next shoot! We’ll do it!

2016 Day For Night Peripheries

In and around the Day For Night 2016 arts and music festival, taking place in Houston, Texas at the previously abandoned Barbara Jordan Post Office complex.

Below are select shots from our favorite music festival – Day For Night. These specific photographs are from around the music festival’s compound – the interesting warehouse location in downtown Houston, full of fascinating art installations, and the peculiar people that this one of a kind festival attracts.

2017 Day For Night Peripheries

The most unique arts and music festival returned, and we were there to capture (only parts of) it. We had to make it 3 for 3. We are glad that we did. The installations that https://dayfornight.io/ keeps booking continues to mesmerize us.

Below are photographs we took of the many fascinating surroundings we were lucky to see with our own eyes. Feel free to full-screen browse through and enjoy the viewing pleasures.

Art Installations credit as follows:

Soon we will share the photographs of the few musical artists we caught in between the installations. Stay tuned! *UPDATED* They’re here!: https://everythingeverphotography.com/2018/04/17/2017-day-for-night-artists/

2017 Governors Ball Music Festival – Day Three

New York City’s Governors Ball Festival – Day Three – Phantogram, AIR, Tool

Hey yeah, we went to New York City! For several important reasons (For the full adventure, jump and explore here!: https://everythingeverphotography.com/2017/08/10/new-york-state-of-mind-the-city-and-the-journey-to-niagara-falls/ ). Since we were around the time of Governors Ball 2017, and they had a cool collection of artists on their lineup, we decided to hop on Randall’s Island for the final day of their festival. We caught New York natives Phantogram, the elusive British instrumentalists AIR, and the finale of the festivities, Tool.

First up – fun with Phantogram!

Here is a slideshow of miscellaneousness around the festival through the night.

AIRing it out in the tent!!! So happy to cross these guys off the list after being a fan for decades.

Tool time from a distance. The crowd was jam-packed after seeing all of the AIR set. But don’t worry, I have some much closer Tool shots from a previous festival – Voodoo in New Orleans – that I plan to eventually post.

As always – Stay tuned for more to come! Everything Ever is infinite!

NATIONAL PARKS DAY

Happy 101st anniversary to the National Parks system!

To celebrate one of the most prideful parts of these United States, here is a compilation of the parks we have visited so far in our lifetimes. Only 6 so far, but it is a very important goal to explore the dozens of other unique monuments and vast lands this wonderful country has to offer us.

Below are a mosaic of photographs we have captured from National Parks and Monuments in the following territories: Colorado, Puerto Rico, New York and Texas.

Please enjoy them and please go visit them, be in awe of them, take care of them!
