2017 Day For Night Peripheries

The most unique arts and music festival returned, and we were there to capture (only parts of) it. We had to make it 3 for 3. We are glad that we did. The installations that https://dayfornight.io/ keeps booking continues to mesmerize us.

New York City’s Governors Ball Festival – Day Three – Phantogram, AIR, Tool

Hey yeah, we went to New York City! For several important reasons (For the full adventure, jump and explore here!: https://everythingeverphotography.com/2017/08/10/new-york-state-of-mind-the-city-and-the-journey-to-niagara-falls/ ). Since we were around the time of Governors Ball 2017, and they had a cool collection of artists on their lineup, we decided to hop on Randall’s Island for the final day of their festival. We caught New York natives Phantogram, the elusive British instrumentalists AIR, and the finale of the festivities, Tool.

Tool time from a distance. The crowd was jam-packed after seeing all of the AIR set. But don’t worry, I have some much closer Tool shots from a previous festival – Voodoo in New Orleans – that I plan to eventually post.

NATIONAL PARKS APPRECIATION

Happy 101st anniversary to the National Parks system!

To celebrate one of the most prideful parts of these United States, here is a compilation of the parks we have visited so far in our lifetimes. Only ~~six~~ – seven! – so far, but it is a very important goal to explore the dozens of other unique monuments and vast lands this wonderful country has to offer us.

Below are a mosaic of photographs we have captured from National Parks and Monuments in the following territories: Colorado, Puerto Rico, New York and Texas.

UPDATE! – We have since added a new park in a new state to our visitation list. This time it is the unbelievable, other-wordly National Park known as Carlsbad Caverns located within the land of enchantment, New Mexico. Photographs taken within this park have been added to the collection below. Please review and enjoy!

New York State of Mind – The City and the Journey to Niagara Falls

Hello How are ya! We are back, with many returns to share with you. Below you will find our discoveries of New York – throughout the city and the state, as we made the trek across from Manhattan to Niagara Falls. This trip was tons of fun, we accomplished just about everything we had planned – including Times Square, Chinatown, the Statue of Liberty, Freedom Tower, Central Park, Niagara Falls (ziplining!) and much more — but only scratched the surface of what New York has to offer! 2017 FORTRESS FESTIVAL – DAY TWO

Fort Worth’s Fortress Festival – Day Two

We attended the first ever Fortress Festival’s second day of the two day fest (we had a previous engagement on Day One). This unique festival is held in Fort Worth, Texas – specifically in association with, and around, the Fort Worth Modern Art Museum. Two stages: one held on the Will Rogers park, and the other held within the Fort Worth Modern’s premises, on a float in their fancy clear-water pond.

We had the pleasure of capturing five acts:

Peter Hook & The Light.

Below are photos from this very cool inaugural event. This is something that the D.F.W. metroplex – especially Fort Worth – needs. We have high hopes for its future and eventual growth! Greatly looking forward to the 2018 version!
